Adding a Project

  1. Navigate to Projects: Access the "Properties" section from the main menu and select "Projects".

    • Why? This step brings you to the central hub for all project-related activities, allowing for easy management and oversight of various properties.

  2. Create New Project:

    • Click on the "New Project" button.

    • Fill in all required fields, such as project name, location, and relevant dates.

    • Why? Creating a new project entry is crucial for tracking and managing property details, ensuring all information is centralised and accessible for various stakeholders.

  3. Add Landlord Information:

    • Click on "Add or Select Landlord" to link a landlord to the project.

    • If the landlord is not already in the system, add a new contact.

    • Why? Associating a landlord with a project helps in maintaining clear records of ownership and responsibility, which is vital for communication and legal purposes.

  4. Upload Images and Documents:

    • Attach images and relevant documents to the project entry.

    • Why? Uploading images and documents provides a visual and documentary reference that enhances the comprehensibility and retrievability of project information for all users.

  5. Save the Project:

    • Click "Save" to add the project to your system.

    • Why? Saving the project details finalises the entry, ensuring that all data is recorded and can be tracked or referenced in future operations.
