Access the "Properties" section from the main menu and select "Units".
Why? This step directs you to the central area for managing all unit-related activities, making it easy to add, modify, or view unit details.
Create New Unit:
Click the "New Unit" button.
Fill in all mandatory fields such as category, number of bedrooms, and location.
Why? Creating a new unit is essential for cataloguing property information in the system, facilitating property management, leasing, and maintenance activities.
Add Landlord Information:
Click on "Add or Select Landlord" to link a landlord to the unit.
Why? Associating a unit with a landlord helps maintain accurate ownership records, which is crucial for communication, financial transactions, and legal documentation.
Upload Images:
Upload photographs of the unit.
Why? Images provide a visual reference that enhances understanding of the unit's condition and features, useful for marketing, maintenance, and leasing activities.
Save the Unit:
Click "Save" to finalise the entry.
Why? Saving the unit ensures all data is correctly stored in the system, available for future reference, reporting, and operational use.
