How do I add a custom field?
Creating Custom Fields in PropSpace
You can create custom fields on any module in PropSpace, which allows you to work with additional fields that may be relevant to your work. For example, if your company uses an internal referencing system for a listing, you can create it as a custom field and populate it for each property record.
Only a manager or an admin can add or remove Custom Fields.
Steps to Create a Custom Field:
Navigate to Custom Fields:
- On the listing screen, click on the 'Show More' button on the top row of tabs and select the 'Custom Field' option to reveal a pop-up modal to manage your existing ones.

- On Leads, Deals, and Contacts screens, click on the 'Custom Fields' button. (Below is the screenshot for the Leads)

Add New Custom Field:
- Click on the 'New Custom Field' button.
- You will be prompted to enter details for the new custom field.
Enter Field Details:
- Field Name: Enter a name for your custom field that clearly describes its purpose.
- Data Type: Choose the appropriate type for your custom field (e.g., text, number, dropdown).
- Required Field: If the field has to be mandatory, choose 'Yes', otherwise choose 'No'.

Save the Custom Field:
- Click 'Save Changes' and then 'Done'. The field will now appear for all records in that module.

Custom fields provide flexibility in data collection, allowing you to capture additional information that is specific to your business requirements. This enhances your ability to manage and analyze data effectively.
