How to create Sendgrid Account for PropSpace Newsletters

PropSpace now allows you to send email newsletters through SendGrid. To enable this feature, you must create a SendGrid account, integrate it with PropSpace, and authenticate your domain to meet SendGrid’s latest requirements. Follow the steps below for a smooth setup.

Steps to Enable SendGrid for PropSpace Newsletters:

Step 1: Create a SendGrid Account
  1. Open SendGrid’s website
  2. Click "Try for Free", register, and enter your company details

  1. Never share passwords, API keys, or authentication details with anyone.
  2. PropSpace staff will never ask for your password or private keys.
  3. If you believe credentials have been exposed, rotate them immediately and contact support@propspace.com.

Step 2: Generate and Integrate an API Key

  1. In SendGrid, go to API Settings > Click "Create New API Key".
  2. Enter an API name of your choice and click "Create and View".
  3. Copy the generated API Key.
  4. Log in to PropSpace and navigate to Profile > Marketing Section.
  5. Paste the API Key, click Validate, and update your Profile.

Step 3: Authenticate Your Domain (Required by SendGrid)

  1. Domain authentication is required for sending campaigns from PropSpace.
  2. Provide SendGrid login access to the person handling your DNS records.
  3. Share the SendGrid domain authentication guide with them.
  4. They must add the required CNAME records from SendGrid to your domain’s DNS settings.

Step 4: Check SendGrid Pricing for Bulk Campaigns (Optional)

Once SendGrid is integrated with PropSpace, you can send newsletters and bulk email campaigns effortlessly. Ensuring domain authentication is crucial to comply with SendGrid’s policies and improve email deliverability.
